5Resident Evil 7 is insane on the PSVR. Sure ...
By J Malone
Resident Evil 7 is insane on the PSVR. Sure the graphics take a hit but the atmosphere is 100% creepier in VR. Not enough AAA content for the average person to pick this up yet but if Sony can get some big games on the PSVR it will be a hit.

5Costs a pretty penny but really great fun
By Jamie
Took a little bit to set up, but it's great fun. I don't like the wands as much (they don't feel as intuitive as the PS4 controllers), but the VR headset is great. Recommend this to anyone looking for immersive gaming experiences.

3I really want to love this but its flawed.
By Petel King
First I'd like to point out I do not write many reviews and am only doing so because I feel there is a strong cognitive dissonance in people buying this kit and praising it endlessly without pointing out the big cons it has, this is not a cheep product and while it does some amazing things, it lacks horribly in comfort and execution.

Pros:
PS VR is probably the coolest gaming accessory I've ever owned and has completely transformed my gaming experience, it is without a doubt the next step in gaming evolution and seems to be a pretty well designed product on the visual experience side.
resolution wise it's not perfect with some blur/pixilation on "far" objects but it does not affect gameplay too much overall and its more/less noticeable with some games than others.

Cons:
Cabling, Cabling, Cabling, My living room now looks like an amateur server room, the funny thing is that while Sony decided to use miles worth of cabling, they still provide you with the same high resistance junk of an HDMI cable that cause the much discussed intermediate flickering/static video issues just like the original PS4 HDMI cable does, why bother providing an HDMI cable if I then have to replace it with a better one because your hardware cannot handle the low resistance a 0.4$ cable worth of a cable produces, that aside, the amount of cabling this thing has is unimaginable, most seem to be completely redundant and could have been replaced with a wireless solution.
There also aren't enough USB outputs to charge all the added hardware, I've got 2 DS4 controllers + 2 move controllers + 1 VR module requiring USB outlets but only 2 USB outlets on my PS4, so I have to either charge my controllers separately (More cabling) or charge them in turns.
Headset cable is the most annoying thing I've ever encountered and I have actually quit playing numerous times out of frustration with the headphones getting ripped out of my ears or the headset cable getting stuck on something and holding back my head when I need to lean forward during gameplay, I'd have expected a company like Sony to have at least provided some sort of clipping mechanism to hold the cables in place and not have them get caught or stepped on during gameplay, for me this is not the experience a high end gaming accessory should provide, so much so that I am shaving 2 stars off my review because I cannot seem to get a continuos gaming experience from this kit.

TL;DR

-Amazing visual gaming experience
-Too much cabling and lack of cable management (Clipping, USB outlets) along with poor cable quality severely reduces overall gaming experience and score.
