Peace of mind to be protected.
By Amazon customer
I was offered a protection plan at a retail outlet where we bought a Power Line Adapter for $70. It was $3.00 more than this one from ST. It has a one year warranty, so I wanted to make sure I was covered if it fails right after the year is up. We moved our main iMac desktop downstairs to our library because it is so hot up there if we don't run the air. This way we only turn the air on downstairs. It was recommended to us by our Internet Provider as opposed to hardwiring and putting holes in the wall. What a wonderful suggestion. It works great. This adapter is available here on Amazon too, in case you are interested. It is by NetGear.
We've used ST plans in the past for electrical items such as TV's but never had to make a claim, so I don't really know how good they are when you need them, but for peace of mind, it's a small price to pay.

Great warranty service!
I always add Squaretrade to any purchase I can. I've used them several times in the past and they've always come through on my claims with either replacing my warrantied items or reimbursing me the cost at time of purchase.
I'll continue to use them for my warranty/protection plans on any/all devices I buy for as long as I can.

I had purchased a Wacom drawing tablet for $69. It was for my sister and I expected it to go through the whole wear and tear deal fast. I decided I wanted to get a warranty for it just in case. I saw SquareTrade as the warranty options, which I have neverd heard of before, so I looked up the reviews. There were a lot of reviews and the general satisfaction was all over the place. Some people loved it, and some people called it a scam. I decided to gamble on it and purchase a 3 year warranty.
A little bit more than a year later and the usb connector became loose and wouldn't connect unless it was held tightly. I went to file a claim on the SquareTrade website and after a few minutes of filling out information, they emailed me a shipping label. I sent my item to them and within a few days I received a check with the full item value in the mail (although you can choose Amazon gift card or paypal for the money to arrive faster).
Bottom line, I have had a good experience from them and I will purchase more warranties from them in the future.
