Square trade makes its problems into the customers problems.
I had submitted the receipt for my product, now they say they lost it and I have to resubmit it but I can not as their system says they all ready have it on file so I can not re submit it.
they had 8 hours to fix this error but did not now their going to take my time to call them on the phone when i'm all ready busy enough.

I had such great support from Square Trade. They replaced (actually gave me my purchase price) even though it was under manufacturer warranty period. LG gave me such a horrible time and took hours and needed to have my receipt that had the serial code printed on it. Well, my receipt did not have that printed. Square Trade requested that I try to get manufacturer to stand behind it first, but assured me that if they gave me a hard time, just give them the reference number for the call to the manufacturer and Square Trade would replace it right away.
That's what I did, and that's what they did.
I forgot to register or notice that I needed to receive an email from them in the beginning. However, Square Trade helped me walk through that when I needed to use it, with no problems.

Who Knew I Would Actually Use This

I just purchased some really nice headphones for myself (Sennheiser HD 202 old version) and as I was about to check out and purchase the headphones on Amazon I saw a Squaretrade warranty notice pop up. Now, I'm not a fan of buying extended warranties, but since the price for the warranty was so low I just figured, why not buy it to protect my new cool headphones? Turns out that that was a super smart buy! Within the first year my left speaker on my Sennheiser headphones went kaput! Dead! I called up Squaretrade to file a claim and, with absolutely no hassles or haggling, I was approved for a new set of headphones.
The entire process of filing a claim and having it approved literally took a few minutes. To say it took five minutes would be too long! I took the Amazon gift card option to purchase another set of headphones and what was really cool about the entire ordeal is that when I went to re-purchase my headphones, my warranty covered enough for me to get the UPGRADED NEW headphones! The Sennheiser HD 202 Pro 2. I ended up walking away with better headphones than what I originally purchased. No hassles. No fuss.
I definitely would recommend Squaretrade. I've also ended up purchasing them for my HP laptop and, same as before, I had to call in a claim on that too; and same as before, no hassles. No fuss. Fast service.
I give 'em 5 stars for sure!
