This portable charger blows my mind!
By Derek Dailey
I was lucky enough to catch this on a promotion for $30 and I'm so glad I was able to get it. This portable charger is awesome and I would have gladly paid full price. I have 2 other smaller capacity Anker chargers and they are both impressive as well. This is a very large charger, but it packs a ton of power. This is perfect for being away from an electrical outlet for multiple days. I did some testing when I received this charger and it took just under 7 hours to recharge using both inputs with Anker cables and wall charger. This is a bit more than Anker advertises, but it is still very quick for this size of pack. I have a couple of Quick Charge pack that are 10050 mAh and they take about 4 hours, so 8 hours for this is pretty decent since it is 2.5 times the capacity.
What I like:
1. It has 3 USB output ports with 6 Amps total output!
2. You can charge quickly using 2 USB inputs. This is genius!
3. It delivers more power than an OEM Apple wall charger!
4. It comes with 2 high quality Anker micro USB cables and a bag.
What could be improved?
1. I really like the 10 LED battery meter on the Plus series from Anker, so hopefully they will make a Plus version of this charger.
2. Anker includes Velcro cable ties on some products, and this is very handy for keeping cables tidy.
This is another solid Anker product and I would recommend to anyone who needs to charge a bunch of devices while on the go. It is heavy and bulky compared to a 10,000 mAh pack, but it would be lighter and smaller than carrying 3 of these packs, so if you need power for three devices pick up this device.

Let me say one thing - this power bank is FRIGGIN HUGE! It's been a month already and I have yet to run the power down on this thing. Let's go over to the PROS. I'm going to list them below.
- Capacity that will last you weeks of power.
- Dual charging ports to charge the power bank faster.
- 3 outputs to charge your devices simultaneously, and at the maximum (safe) rate the battery that you are charging can take in.
- 4 LED bars that tell you how much battery life is available.
- Contains power IQ technology that automatically detects and delivers the fastest charge to the device that you are using.
- A nice, matte black finish.
Now, let's move over to the CONS of this power bank (though there aren't many)
- This is not a small power bank. That being said, It is the smallest and most portable of its size. if you are looking for a small power bank by ANKER, I would suggest buying the Anker PowerCore+ mini lipstick power bank. It's their flagship of all of their lipstick-sized power banks.

Let there be Power! And MORE Power!
This review written after owning and using this for over a month.
Dual charging ports for fast charging.
Can charge up to 3 devices at once
4 LED Bars to indicate remaining battery strength.
Compatible with 12" Macbook.
None that I can think of.
This thing is a beast, in a good way. I'd hesitated to buy it, after reading reviews, thinking it may be too big. I'm glad I bought it, and don't think it's too big -- for my needs. I mostly keep it in a backpack or computer bag. Sometimes when I want something to carry with me on my person, I bring the lipstick size PowerCore -- I've had one for a few years, and while it does the job, it needs to be recharged after powering my iPhone 7 one time. The 26800 can be used many, many times before needing recharging. I've successfully charged an iPad, my iPhone 7, a USB Plantronics headset, and a 12" Macbook. I love having the flexibility of having a lot of juice, because I know sooner or later I'm going to end up on a flight without an AC plug, that's delayed or encounters some other difficulty. It’s also sort of convenient to be able to continuously use devices while working, and being able to have them within reach, wihtout having to adjust your work environment so that you’re parked near whatever plug happens to be around. Sitting in bed plugging away while charging is kind of a cool convenience to have.
If you're just looking for something to carry around along with your cell phone in a jacket or a pocket, literally on your person, I'd consider a smaller PowerCore than the 26800, but if you're primarily going to be carrying a backpack or computer bag, I'd recommend the 26800. It's really not heavy or bulky at all. It’s about a pound.
The PowerCore conveniently charges when plugged in via the two Micro USB Ports. I went with the 26800 over other models because at least from reviews it seems this charges much quicker because you can use two ports to charge at once.
I'd looked online for a good case, and ultimately am using something I previously purchased, an Eagle Creek pack it cube (this particular model is unavailable but there are many like it online): Eagle Creek Travel Gear Pack-It Tube Cube, Black
I like to use a case so I can keep all the cords together at the ready that I’m using with the PowerCore.
The PowerCore does come with the cool-looking Anker bag, as pictured.
2 Apple Lightning cables
2 USB Cables
USB-C to USB 3.0 cable to connect PowerCore to 12" Macbook: Anker USB-C to USB 3.0 Cable (3.3ft) for USB Type-C Devices Including the MacBook, ChromeBook Pixel, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nokia N1 Tablet, OnePlus 2 and More
Anker 2-port 24W Wall Charger: Anker 2-Port 24W USB Wall Charger PowerPort 2 with PowerIQ for iPhone 7 / 6s / Plus, iPad Air 2 / mini 3, Galaxy S Series, Note Series, LG, Nexus, HTC and More
In the picture of the PowerCore 26800, you can see three of the four green indicator lights, to tell you how much battery charge is remaining. These lights only activate for a few seconds when you press a button on the side of the PowerCore. Of course, you wouldn't want these lights always on, as that would needlessly drain the battery quicker.
I tend to carry this in my computer bag, and have found many situations where it's come in handy: in meetings, at the airport, at conferences, etcetera. I don't always want to get up and walk to a port to have to charge devices, or jockey for position with other folks hoping to get a charge.
Having this around provides some cool peace of mind to ease that sort of anxiety about traveling. I like that in airports I’m no longer married to whatever AC Plug happens to be around. Now about those other attachments…well, that’s a different story for another time.
