No matter where you are cycling in the city or adventuring in the wild, the TaoTronics TT-SH013 Bicycle Phone Mount is your first choice for holding, securing and protecting your smartphone and devices when cycling. It is the perfect cycling companion you've ever had. While primarily designed for holding smartphone, the TaoTronics bike phone holder can accommodate any device with width between 1.97 and 3.94 inches. This includes DVRs, digital cameras, small tablets etc. It frees your hand so that you get to have the most fun without getting lost or bored. The extendable cradle arms hold your device in place while the rubber grip double secures it so that your device stays nicely tucked in. The all-around protection prevents your phone from slipping out on the most rugged roads or turbulent trails. The clamp with an adjusting knob not only fixes the mount on your handlebar but also presents the possibility for wider application. It is easily installed on your bicycle with a simple twist - no extra tools are needed. Removing your device is made easy with a simple one-button release design.

An inexpensive, well-constructed game-changer
By David Risher
If until now you've been pulling your iPhone out of your pocket to check directions and then putting it back in, this changes the game. Minutes after I installed it, I set off on a 35-mile ride north of San Francisco and was blown away by how much more helpful turn-by-turn cycling directions are when you can actually see the map. Plus the mount couldn't be simpler to install, couldn't do a better job at what it claims to do, and would still be cheap at twice the price. Don't over-think this one: if you're interested enough to be reading this review, you should probably just buy this product.

Took it out for a ride this weekend. I haven't been on a bike in a very long time, and forgot many important lessons. As a result, I took a tumble today. Everything that wasn't securely fastened went flying. My phone was still mounted and a corner of it dug up some dirt. The rubber bands need to be fiddled with in order to stay, but once in place they work well.

works good for my phablet.
I just got this an hour ago, so these are initial impressions. I have a ZTE Z970 "ZMAX", and is a 5.7" phone. My case is an Olympia Z970 Aftershock dual-layer. I was concerned that this may not fit with my case protecting it, and it is a tight fit with the case on. The bare phone fits easily, but my phone needs some kind of protection. The phone mount holds the phone securely. While I haven't had time for a road test yet, I did shake the mount while holding with phone inserted and the grip was great, and this was without using the rubber corner grips. Since I ride mainly on pavement and bike trails (no rough terrain), it should do fine. The handle bar grip is secure.
I will go on a bike ride in a few days and report any problems.
