3Grip is comfortable. Decent ink pen
    By Amazon Customer
Stylus writes smooth. Has a cute little squeak when you write at times. But it's not distracting. Grip is comfortable. Decent ink pen. You can replace the nib, not sure you can replace the pen. This is my 6th stylus. Had gen 3 Bamboo but lost the pen. Still have the cap. Had a TruGlide for almost 2 years. But the nib got wet, lost it's conductivity and stopped writing. Bamboo expensive but worth it. After losing bamboo gen 3, I bought cheap ones. Nibs turned to mush in no time.

4Easier to live with than Jot but not as precise
    By Roy
The best of both worlds... doesn't exist.
As an engineer, I love the precision, and am dismayed by the durability and clacking sound of all variants of the Adonit Jot.

    On the other hand..,

The squashy rubber family of styli, while much easier to live with and considerably more durable, just doesn't write very well. Precise control of the start, end, or location of a line is impossible.

This pen is better than most squashy rubberized styli, and you get a reasonably smooth roller ball on the other end. It feels nice, has a snick snickity magnetic cap, a good clip, and a nice quality matte finish. I like the Tri-lobe barrel for it's rolling resistance, and the easy replaceability of the ink reservoir and rubberish bumper. It's not even so bad for non-printed handwriting and scribbly drawing.

So this is a fine electro-drawing-thing for doodlers and screen-schmutz haters that write in cursive. If you're an engineer that writes in small, neat, capital letters, and wants to make electro-sketches that will be used to make things, then the short-lived and clacky (but precise) Jot is your ticket.
