Looks like a spare part
By Ivar Vikøren
Not in retail package, no papers. Looks like a spare part, somewhat expensive. I would recommend for those that need a spare, or have lost theirs to get the one from MS Surface Pro 3, much cheaper and based on same N-trig technology.

I don't understand why this has bad reviwes.
I have heard many bad things about this pen such as it doesn't work on my touch screen and the buttons are not programmable so have no use. I will give you the rezones why. This stylus is meant for only VAIO touch screens witch are being discontinued by SONY. As for the buttons, they are only able to be used with drawing programs such as Painter X3 and Photoshop.(I prefer sketchbook 6) The longer top button is the eraser and the smaller button is undo. Depending on the brush you use it will widen when more pressure is applied. All of these fetures that I have stated ONLY work for drawing programs. As far as the stories for the stylus curser not being were the stylus itself is, simply take out the battery wait 10 second then put it back in, and zooming all the way in will make it do this so do finer details with the mouse . The stylus takes 1 AAA battery and comes with 2. 1 battery has enough power to use the stylus for over 58 hours(that's how long I've used it). Was it worth near the $200 price tag, absolutely. This is a great stylus for aspirating artists and I highly recommend it.

Works great with Surface Pro 3, even keeping OneNote function
2 nibs with different feels, button placement is perfect and not in the way like the Surface Pro 3's stylus. If anything, just freakin' expensive, but a great solid product. The Surface Pro 3 stylus cap even screws in perfectly to this!
