4If you remember using Palm technology this is the one for you (if you know the pitfalls)
By Dr. Bill B.
Certainly this device is outdated technology compared with what is currently available in smartphones (Note: not from Palm, they are out of business).. This product's technology is about 10 years old and dates back to about 2004.

I have used Palm devices from the very first one and it was a product that changed my life. I forgot NOTHING, I had the information I needed at my fingertips. I was (and somewhat still am) very comfortable using the Palm Tungsten. NOTE: If you are thinking of purchasing one - be forewarned.... It will not work to well with Windows 7 or 8. You need to go to the internet and find (from user support groups) the appropriate software "fixes" and drivers that will enable it to work with Windows. It took me the better part of entire day to research the information and get all the ducks in a row, so to speak, to get it to work flawlessly. Hence the 4 stars as as opposed to 5.

Finally, why did I buy this when today's smartphones will run rings around this handheld PDA? I had a smartphone and decided it was a huge pain to operate. The touchscreen was always giving me the wrong item. Not the screen's fault but my BIG fingers. Also, I really did not want All the information contained within all tied up in a single device. I now have a flip phone and my Palm Tungsten PDA.

5I love my Tungsten E2 Palm Pilot!
By Reginald A. White
I have used the Palm Pilot, (Several models over the years) for a very long time. Ever since I got my first one, I have never missed an appointment, a meeting, nor forgotten an anniversary or birthday. I am so sad that they were forced out of business by the "IPhone" rage, but they interface with my computer so I can have printed copies of my monthly obligations as well as the electronic one on my belt with it's alarm function to keep me focused on busy days, and the dependability of my index of addresses and contact information for all of my friends and business associates.

5Establishing Sync function between the Palm Tungsten E2 and Windows 7 (64-bit)
By Chull
I purchase this new one because my previous device lost its calendar (datebook) sync function. I am now happy that I got this useful function back. I noticed that some people seem to have problem with sync function. In my case, I have Windows 7 (64-bit) on my computer, therefore, the sync function works only through bluetooth function (the sync cable does not work). To make it work in the past, I went through three steps: (1) Downloading Palm Desktop by ACCESS, (2) Buying a Bluetooth Adapter (I purchased in the past a Belkin F8T016 Mini Bluetooth Laptop Adapter) and installing the Bluetooth Adapter software program that comes with the adapter, and (3) Downloading Extra Free Virtual Serial Ports software from the internet site, then going through the bluetooth setup steps on the Palm device. Following these three steps, It worked beautifully, and it is cable-free within 30-ft range. By the way, this new device was sent by two-day priority mail, and all the new sync process went without a glitch and I am a happy camper again.
