The black Nikon D3300 DSLR Camera is a compact and versatile camera featuring a DX-format 24.2 megapixel CMOS sensor and EXPEED 4 image processor. The sensor and processor combine to realize high-resolution imaging, notable low-light sensitivity to an expandable ISO 25600, continuous shooting to 5 fps, and full HD 1080p video recording capabilities. Additionally, the sensor design omits the traditional optical low-pass filter in order to gain the utmost sharpness and resolution from both photos and videos. These imaging assets are complemented by an 11-point autofocus system, which provides quick and accurate focusing capabilities to suit working with a variety of subject types in nearly any lighting situation. A range of shooting modes and features are also available to help creatively accentuating your imagery, including an Easy Panorama mode as well as Picture Control settings for in-camera adjustment of the color and contrast qualities of your photos and movies. For live view monitoring, image playback, and menu navigation, a large 3.0" 921k-dot LCD monitor is available and features a wide 160° viewing angle to better support working from high and low angles. Also enhancing the viewing and shooting abilities of the D3300, the optional WU-1a Wireless Mobile Adapter can be used to provide Wi-Fi connectivity for wirelessly transferring imagery and remotely controlling the camera from a linked Android or iOS mobile device. Included with the D3300 camera body is the AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR II lens; a standard zoom providing a 35mm-equivalent focal length range of 27-82.5mm. This lens incorporates a robust VR image stabilization system, which helps to minimize the appearance of camera shake by up to four shutter speed steps to benefit working in low-light conditions. A Super Integrated Coating reduces flare and ghosting to optimize image clarity, contrast,

5This is the best deal for a quality entry level DSLR
By Eogeaux
Oh Nikon was was not prepared for the DSLR world. This camera is WAY better than a point and shoot, but that's currently how I"m using it until I can find some time to learn how to use a DSLR. If you have never used a DSLR camera before you are going to need to buy a book to learn how to use it. it takes beautiful pictures on auto mode though, but I can't wait to learn to take exceptional pictures. the value of this particular product is unbeatable. We started taking things out of the box and it was like Christmas. You get so much stuff in this bundle. I am a bargain shopper and I've searched high and low for the best bang for my buck and this is definitely it. If you want a high-end camera for learning how to use a DSLR and all the extra stuff you will need to go with it, this is by far the best deal on the internet. Trust me, I researched it for 4 days (at least 7 total hours, maybe more) before I made the purchase. This is it. The best deal you are going to find. You're welcome.

As an aviation photographer, videographer, graphic designer, writer and editor for an aviation network I needed a new camera. We tend to buy cameras now and then. Since my focus is more on the enjoyment of the aviation aspects of it, as well as writing and editing I do not have tens of thousands of dollars worth of camera equipment. I tend to be more about the planes, the people, the happenings than getting shots from thousands of feet away and being the top of the charts. Recently, I decided to switch from Canon to Nikon (GASP). This was due in part to using a colleague's higher end Nikon at my most recent airshow. I was operating a camera for live interviews and using three digital cameras to get stills of the airshow stars/professionals simultaneously. I fell in love with the Nikon and decided I had to have one.

The D3300 was my choice after what seemed countless hours of research. I needed something that was budget friendly for me and similar enough to the higher end one that I fell in love with that I wouldn't feel "cheated". After not only researching which camera would be best--for me and my needs--I also wanted to find the best deal I could. Here it was at Amazon. I was a little concerned about refurbished but decided to give it a shot anyway. I am so beyond thrilled that I did! I could not be happier with this camera...okay, maybe there is one thing I don't have--the long-range auto zoom. I am missing that, but I can fix that with a lens upgrade at some point. Besides, I will still (faux pas or not) carry my cannon with me to grab those longer range shots or whatever else. I want those bigger lenses and I will add them as I am able. For now, I love, love, love this.

As for all the gear that came with. I have not used everything yet, so I cannot speak about all of it, but overall, I am pleased with the bonuses. Now, they are not all fabulous, but they are all at least good. I haven't used the remote shutter yet but hope that works okay. If I do try it, I will add later how it went. The extra lenses that came with it are not the best, but they are okay. I don't have a whole lot of use for the tabletop tripod, but it seems okay. Regarding the "full size" tripod. Now, this is not the sturdiest or grandest of tripods mind you--it must be considered that it is basically a toss in--or freebie. Having said that, I really like it. For me, and my travelling all over the country it is compact enough, to not hog all of my allowed space while flying, yet operational enough that I will at least use it for my smaller Canon. I have not used it for this camera yet, and not sure that I will. One good bump will send it flying and while I love things that new camera would not be a joy for me to watch sailing through the air.

I have used the tripod on the beach (with the Canon) to shoot a promo for an upcoming event that I will be at and it worked very well in the sand. I also had to walk two miles one way just to go where there weren't people hovering about to do so. I was happy to have the lightweight factor at that point. It is possible that I would use it for the Nikon if I were in an area that would not be compromised, but still, not sure about in a busy area. Still thrilled to have it. Oh, and I may use it as a makeshift monopod because it does suffice for that for my smaller camera, but I will use it that way for the Nikon as well. I think my biggest complaint about the package was the sd card reader. I have not tried it with my laptop yet...but will. However, in my desktop, the front USB ports that I have does not allow for the bulky reader to fit. I am sure it will work fine in the back but wanted to mention in case there is anyone that needs it to fit in a specific spot. Just keep in mind, there needs to be some good clearance around it. I have card readers on these anyway, just wanted it for other devices--so for that should be fine. Overall, super, wonderful value for the money.

Excellent seller! Super fast shipping! I got mine with TWO DAYS with Prime!!

5Everything you need and MORE!

Love the camera and all of the accessories have been great!

This is my first DSLR camera so I still have a lot of things to learn but I have been having so much fun with this purchase. I've taken this on a few hikes already and have already put the camera and many of the accessories through some wear and tear and all have held up wonderfully!

Favorite accessories: It came with a full size tripod that can expands to a variety of hights, I was very impressed with the quality! Comes with 2 different SD cards, it's always comforting to have a backup, and even has a small carrier that has 3 pockets but can easily fit 6 cards in total. It has a small lens cover that you can screw on over your lens, it is clear so it won't alter your photos but will help protect you lens from scratches. I really think they thought of everything! The only additional purchases I will need to make are some spare batteries for long camping trips and a new camera strap because after I received mine, my mom bought the same set so now we need a way to tell our cameras apart when traveling together.
