Great camera, but not all accessories are necessary
By Dan D
Right up front, I am not a professional photog . . . nor can I be considered an amateur photog. I just enjoy taking pictures. I also believe customer reviews are critical. I love shopping on Amazon and I value customer reviews, tremendously. I purchased this bundle to take a step up from my Panasonic Limux digital camera. I love the Panasonic, and have been using it for a couple of years. I enjoy taking macro pictures, but recently started taking pics of birds. I wasn’t getting the quality of pictures I wanted, so a friend told me that I really needed to step up to a DSLR camera. She recommended a Nikon, but the ones she recommended were well over $1,000! Not wanting to spend a paycheck on camera (or get into trouble with my wife), I opted for the Canon Rebel T6. This is the base model, and it really is all that I need.
The reason I picked this bundle is b/c the price seemed good ($549) and it comes with a lot of accessories. After receiving the camera, I took everything out, and gave it a once-over to make sure all was good, and accounted for. The reason I give this bundle a 3-star rating is not b/c the camera is bad or cheap. I give it a 3-star rating b/c much of the bundled accessories are either not necessary for what I am doing, or the quality is not really that great.
The best parts of the bundle are: 1) camera body (obviously), 2) standard lens, 3) zoom lens (this is great for bird pics), 4) extra battery, 5) battery charger, 6) two 32GB memory cards, 7) macro lenses, and 8) the shutter remote.
The less than great parts of the bundle are: 1) the extra battery charger (I have to fiddle with it to get it in the right position so it will charge, if not it will show a green light, indicating it’s charged when it’s not), 2) the tripod (seems VERY flimsy, and almost fell over a few times when I had the camera mounted), 3) the two lens attachments (these did very little to extend the range of the lens or to magnify it for macro shots), 4) the external flash attachment (this is thin plastic and the attached guide sheet is peeling off), 5) lens filter attachments (don’t seem to make much of a positive difference in the pics I’ve taken).
All of that said, I really love this camera. I decided to spend a little extra money and get a good tripod and I upgraded the memory cards to two faster 64GB cards. If you are just getting into photography and want a great starter DSLR, I can recommend this camera. I have attached two pictures, both taken side-by-side, where I took a picture of a bird flying to the feeder. Both cameras were on tripods with the setting on action, and zoomed in to the maximum. You can immediately tell how much more clear the Canon picture is compared to the Panasonic.

Best bundle you'll find!
By N. R. Huneycutt
First of all, this bundle is amazing! Just the camera and 18-55mm lens costs $500.00 at canon website. This bundle included everything listed when it arrived, the lenses are both amazing, the camera is amazing, and the bag is just big enough to fit everything (except the tripod) If you have an organized way of putting items in and not just stuffing the items in the bag (hint** take the lenses off the body before putting it in. Saves lots of space). Both batteries and chargers have worked without fail. The inclusion of 64GB worth of SD storage is great, because you can take tons of pictures and videos before having to export from the cards onto a computer or flash drive. I have yet to use the wifi or NFC on the camera, so I don't know how that works. A touchscreen would have been nice on the camera. Also the inclusion of a screen protector in the bundle would be great. The set of 3 filters (the multicolored ones) are useful and deliver good nighttime shots and/or UV protection, while the other set of 4 filters is not worth carrying around because it does not add or take away from the quality of the photos. The lens hood has also been useless. The SD reader is a welcome inclusion to the kit, although my MacBook already has an SD reader, so I don't use it. The flash unit works well on the hotshoe or on the included flash rack. The remote, although I haven't used it for this purpose yet, can be used for long exposure photography- a HUGE deal with such a small little device! The extra lenses can make your shot wider (with macro capabilities) or 2x zoom. ALWAYS WEAR THE STRAP! AVOID CAMERA DAMAGE! The tripod is flimsy and I would not trust it out in the field, only inside. The camera was easy to set up. The extra battery's charger is a little flimsy, but works. It can be charged by wall outlet or ciggarette lighter (something I wish canon's battery charger could also do). Anyways, this is an amazing little kit perfect for beginner photographers (although purchasing another sturdier tripod and screen protector was a good idea [this tripod is amazing- https://www.amazon.com/Camera-Tripod-InnerTeck-Aluminum-Portable/dp/B06Y2YN3T1/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_421_tr_t_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=F31ZK2XKTB6Z8KJ144EA]). Also- many things in this kit are covered with a warranty (including flash). The camera and both lenses can be registered at CanonUSA website for protection. Here is a couple of photos taken with this camera and the included 75-300mm lens :

This bundle is an excellent value. Your able to start using camera for a wide varienty of photo assignment right out of the box.Only improvment would be to trade Flash & Tripod for an AC Power Adapter for continous power, a polorized filter for both lenses and camera rain coat. Tripod is rinky-dink and shaky. Over all very nice bundle for price, would always be nice to get one more memory card and spare and spare battery.
