Very Clear Pic, Very Clear Microphone
[[VIDEOID:mo27ELCND12MVVT]]This video was made using my new Logitech Webcam C310. Excellent picture and sound quality. I am using the webcam's microphone to make calls on skype, and there has been no complaints on the receiving end.

good value; adaptable

[[VIDEOID:mo2T6TR1Z7WYEOF]]This little webcam has proven to be a very good value for its price. Its focus and light correction are good and its video and quality are quite reasonable. I've used it on several different computers, from a five-year-old XP laptop to a recent Vista desktop platform and have had no problems. The software is simple but the camera adapts readily to other software: I've noticed no problems with Skype and indeed it's very useful on that.
I'm familiar with the Logitech line; I already have a Logitech Pro 9000. Frankly, this C310 webcam gives fairly similar results at a much lesser price.
Highly recommend for those looking for an inexpensive but capable little webcam, especially those starting out.

Randomly quits in the middle of Skype calls
UPDATE: This was great for about a month or two of use. After I was conveniently unable to return it, the video started cutting out in the middle of Skype calls for no apparent reason, even though the microphone still worked. I tried all my USB ports, uninstalling and reinstalling the device drivers, etc. to no avail -- the issue seems to be the hardware. Eventually my computer wouldn't even detect that the device was plugged in, and I couldn't use it for Skype at all. Pretty disappointed in this, as it was pretty great when it actually functioned.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: This was extremely easy to set up and switch to using Skype. It's far better quality than the webcam that came with my computer (which, to be fair, is several years old now), and the microphone seems to have reduced some weird feedback during my Skype calls -- whistling, for example, used to cause awful feedback that I happily don't experience when using this webcam. Highly recommended!
