5I love the charger as well
By bmedic
I can finally stop buying these expensive batteries. They recharge quickly and lasts approximately 2 weeks with heavy usage. If used in a place with low traffic....well they have been in my arlo camera for almost 3 weeks and still show a full charge. I love the charger as well. It shows the status of individual batteries so that you will know the status of each battery.

2Writing it off to a bad batch
By TheDogMonster
Assuming they were pre-charged, I must also assume I have batteries from a bad batch.I bought a charger with four batteries and a separate 4 pack which were actually the first batteries I put in the camera. For the record, I checked both sets and both made the charger blink red non-stop. I didn't take notice to the battery level when I put them in the camera but after four to five days of sitting on a table, having been live monitored only twice for a few seconds each time and the battery level was at roughly 50% and then dropped to 31% after another two days. A different Arlo wireless on throwaway batteries reported spent batteries and I put in the set that came with the charger. These fully charged batteries started out at 25%. Neither set will charge at all. I also tried charging just two at a time to no avail so I printed the labels to ship them back. I'd like to try them again but it's likely I'll get batteries from the same production run and it has me leery at present.Reading recent reviews I'm not alone receiving faulty batteries. I recently converted one Arlo camera to run off a 6 volt charger and I'm converting two others to solar power. Wireless cameras - what a great idea if you don't mind spending a small fortune on batteries.
I had high hopes for the Tenergy CR123A rechargeables, I'll update the review if necessary.

3Defective out of the box...
By Gregory H.
UPDATED: I was able to contact mfg and they are sending out a replacement battery so I upped the review one star since they are trying to fix this. I'll update it further (up or down) depending on whether I get the replacement or not and if it works or not, etc.

Dead out of the box. Sounds like a great alternative to buying the disposable batteries for Arlo, but it does you no good when on the day you need them you start to charge them, only to find out one of the batteries has a short and is defective. At least the charger light lets you know this. I've bought a variety of rechargeable batteries and chargers through the years and have never received one that was defective. VERY disappointed.
