Works on Xbox Elite controller and original Xbox 1S controller. Good battery life, finally no more buying AAs in bulk!

This works on both controllers I've tried it on so far, the original white xbox 1s controller and the xbox elite controller. However, it did take some time to get it to work on my elite controller at first. I originally thought it was not going to work, but after unplugging it and plugging it back in a few times and trying it in another controller it just started working on the elite.
It works pretty good, I wasn't able to measure the exact time used but it's right in the 20-30 hour range as stated in the specs. The charging time is also just about 4 hours.

I purchased two of these battery units, and have been relatively happy with them. They take a long while to charge, but also last a good deal longer than any other battery I've found for this purpose. They're quite well-made, and come with sturdy USB cords which are more than long enough to play while plugged in. My only concern is that the pack does not always seem to fit snugly in the battery slots. This hasn't actually been a problem thus far, as the case keeps it in place. However, I can foresee a time when a hard knock would dislodge the batteries mid-game, so care should be taken with these units.

In my very humble opinion, it is absolutely a requirement to use the official ones (or ones that do not require you plug directly into the battery) if it is going to be used for children. We got my oldest a non official one that plugs into the battery instead of the controller and it worked well for a good price but he accidentally plugged it into the controller and it blew out a tiny capacitor and maybe the buck converter. It ended up rendering the controller almost useless as it acts all kinds of funky (left control stick doesn't work anymore and I've repaired the circuit board). Long story short, I'd go with this; the official one to avoid any possible issues.
This kit charges easily, it's simple, effective and it has a light on the cable to let you know when the battery is fully charged. This feature alone is great and I love it and another reason I suggest going with this kit.
