5Excellent value
By E. MCDONOUGH
I bought the 32" 2017 model sold by Erwin. It arrived in two days, even though it's not Prime eligible. All the ports on the back are really easy to access, even the earphone jack which I use sometimes late at night. I didn't like the preset picture quality, so I played with it a bit to choose a different setting. The picture now, to my satisfaction, is very sharp and clear with good color. (Didn't do anything sophisticated; just normal vs sports vs movie, brightness, color saturation, etc.)

This TV replaced a 32" JVC TV purchased back in January 2009. The old TV was larger and heavier but the actual screen size, the picture size, is almost identical. The difference in the case size is due to advances in the technology.

Very easy to set up the Roku. We have a separate Roku on another TV and like it very much, and that is why I considered buying this TV. The only "problem" I had setting up the TCL was in following the initial prompts for activating the Roku -- not knowing how to add this product to our existing Roku account. The prompts do not account for the customer already having another Roku. Got through it though. If you can't figure this out, I think you'd have to call their customer service number because the "help" link during setup doesn't help at all. ;-)

This TV is connected to an outside antenna, which I added to the Roku menu so I can access those channels along with the Blu-ray player. Very easy to search for channels and set up on the antenna menu. I imagine if you have cable it would be just as easy.

One nice feature on the remote is a button that's been added to the standard Roku remote to turn the TV on and off. I don't understand why Roku never put that button on there in the past. Definitely an improvement.

I've had this TV about 10 days and am really happy with it. If I'd waited another week I'd probably be even happier because I notice the price has come down about $10.

Great price, very light weight, really easy to install, nice picture quality, good sound and I love that there is one remote for everything! Couldn't be more pleased with this purchase.

5So far so good
By Jae Ar
This is my first flat screen TV. I've been watching antenna TV on the tube for years. I finally got tired of watching Netflix on the computer. It was simple to set up. Tip: use the app on your phone for set up instead of the remote. It's much faster. I'm not picky about wonderful sound and picture quality, so this is still amazing.
