Super Bomberman R makes full use of the Nintendo Switch system capabilities, which enables gamers to play wherever, whenever and with whomever they choose. Super Bomberman R offers a 'Battle' mode where up to eight players are dropped within a maze until the 'last man standing' is declared the winner. There is also a 'Story' mode where one to two players work cooperatively to clear a series of 50 stages in order to save the galaxy.

With the release of the latest patch this game is just great.
By Jesse Reimann
With the release of the latest patch this game is just great. With computer opponents on the new weak setting they don't totally dominate multiplayer and it is so much fun(especially with 2-3 other people playing locally). The controls are spot on now and the graphics/framerate are great. I finished a run through story mode and the levels only taking coins a couple times to continue means you end up with a decent amount of coins as a reward after finishing a world even if you die a bunch in the process. For me the game went from 2-3 stars as it was initially released to 4-5 stars now. The plot and voice work in the story mode is still cheesy but the game play is tons of fun and it's a big hit with my whole family now (my wife was even joining in for multiplayer battles)

Classic Multiplayer Bomberman Action
By Kevin V.
If anything, the hilarious and awesome multiplayer is worth getting this game. $50 may be a little steep.. luckily I was able to get this at $40 with prime, making it more of a deal. There is definitely a lot of replay-ability here. Challenging story mode as well. I'd recommend this, at least for the $40 price tag I purchased this at.

that's a good thing. It's just that for the price
By Selik Rune
CON: it's a bit short. But when "I want more of it" is your main complaint, that's a good thing. It's just that for the price, a little more would be nice. Though they did add new characters for free, so there's that.... More campaign levels, maybe?
PROs: classic gameplay. It's also just satisfying to blow things up. Granted, I find that I am easily my own greatest enemy. The graphics aren't mind-blowing, but they are fitting and I find them pleasant. Unlilke some games, they let you skip cutscenes at will, which is nice. The in-game currency is also not nightmarish to come across.
All in all, I really enjoy the game.
