Won't cover your issues, even if the device is faulty.

I had a horrible time with this Square Trade protection plan. The buttons on the DVD player that I purchased were not working properly (i.e. hitting the center "ok" button would move the cursor down), so I went onto their app to report the issue. While I noted that the issue was NOT from drop damage, my claim was denied because of damage. I called customer service because I could not edit or re-submit the claim, and the person who answered said I could go in after 48-72 hours and retry, but wouldn't do it over the phone. He assured me it was a mistake and that it would work. My claim never opened back up and Square Trade won't do anything about it. The issue started months ago and I've since given up. I had a different protection plan with my last portable DVD player, and that company was the friendliest and easiest to go through.I WILL NOT buy this protection plan again, nor will I recommend it to others. It was inexpensive, but it was a waste of a purchase since they won't cover the problem.

Didn't do anything for me, but I was at least able to get my protection plan refunded.

Confusing on how to use this so called protection plan on the associated purchase. I tried a few times to do so and got no results. My 60 dollar headphones went out on one side in about 3 months, I thought it was a good thing that I bought this protection plan but it didn't help at all.
Amazon did however refund the cost of the protection plan via a to z guarantee, but getting 5 bucks back and loosing out on 60 dollars spent on the actual product does not help me out. I am now contacting the seller of the headphones directly to see if there is any way I can get a refund or replacement through them.
