Please don't rate things before they ship.
I bought this- ill update my review when it arrives in a few weeks.

This monitor is designed to provide the same viewing experience as two 1920x1080 monitors together, without the bezel in-between.

It provides the resolution of two, side-by-side, 1920x1080 monitors: 3840x1080.

3840 = 1920 + 1920.

(The "1080" in 1920x1080 refers to the amount of pixels from top to bottom. Here, you are getting more screen real estate from side to side, not from top to bottom. the monitor is wider, not "taller", so the 1080 doesn't change. It would not make any sense to have it's resolution be anything more than 1080 on the vertical.)

5Balance out the trolls
By Nathaniel Richards
There are a lot of sore folks in here that appears to be leaving a negative review for their own personal grief of either not having enough capital to own this or speculative issues. Extremely frustrating for actual customers trying to make an informed decision.

5This price for a Qled monitor is well justified!
By Abc123
I just wanted to list some but not all of the reasons why this monitor is worth the premium over a basic monitor.
1) Qled monitor. Only a few Samsung monitors have Qled tech. No other brand has Qled tech. If you price a television with this feature it is north of 2000.00.
2) Aspect ratio. This is the only 32:9 monitor on the market as of this review.
3)HDR. Monitors are just now getting this feature that was only on televisions prior.
4) AMD freesync 2. One of the first monitors to have this feature.
IMHO all of these features combined justify the premium price of this monitor as nothing else competes with it. Any other comparisons to a STANDARD 1080p monitor is invalid. Early adotion of any technology has a price premium. If you are concerned about the price, wait a few years and it will come down. Then you will have nothing to complain about as most of these reviews are not about the product but the price!
