5Exactly what i needed!
By Kevin Wolf
These work perfectly.
I needed this adapter because my 55" Projection TV only has VGA and DVI inputs. All my devices use HDMI, after all, it's 2016... I used this in conjunction with a 3-port HDMI Switch, to allow me to plug in 3 HDMI devices to ONE DVI port. Only hitch, DVI does not natively support audio. So, I also bought an HDMI extractor and plugged it in between this DVI->HDMI adapter, and the switch. Works flawlessly. DVI and HDMI have the same output in terms of resolution so you won't see any difference in your picture quality. If you have an HDMI device, and a DVI port, buy one of these! You won't be upset.

5Tight, quality adapter at a great price
By lush
I have an old Panasonic Plasma with a DVI input. Needed to plug my new Blu Ray player into it. The old HDMI to DVI cable I had in my "wire box" just couldn't handle the signal. Lots of noise in the picture. So I got this adapter and a HDMI Cable 10 FT (4K UHD HDMI 2.0 Ready) - Braided Cord). It worked! The difference was night and day. The adapter fit snugly. I found the knurled screws easy to tighten with my fingers. The HDMI cable holds tight in the adapter, even though it is pointed down and fighting gravity. Love this adapter and it's nice they sell them in pairs. Always good to have a spare and the price is so low that I would have paid the same for one. High quality item at a low price. Thanks. I'm going to watch some new discs on my old TV.
(P.S. I was paid nothing for this review)

5Does its job perfectly.
By Lewis D. Medeiros
There's not a lot that can be said apart from this: this product does its job, and there are two of these handy gizmos in the pack, so it's quite nice for my purposes. I'm using one to connect a second monitor display to my desktop PC (handy for keeping track of my various text-chats and progress bars while running fullscreen applications on the larger main display), despite not having the option of using DVI with either display. There is no image degradation to speak of using this converter. Some preliminary research into the exact specifications of what you're using it with for the sake of safety may be a good idea, but with a product this straightforward (HDMI-to-DVI isn't even all that complicated a conversion process), there shouldn't be anything to worry about. It SHOULD even maintain HDCP compatibility, although I haven't had reason to test that yet myself.
