2Not What Was Expected From Description and Crazy Price Fluctuations
By Justin M
For something that you don't get to try in advance of purchase they should fully describe what you will see in VR. Pixelation, especially on text would be a good thing to include in the description to fully prepare someone dropping $400+ on the system. Also a warning stating that the lense adjustment may not fit everyone would be good to know aswell. I have near to perfect eyesight and the slider maxed out won't let me get an any clearer picture resulting in having to deal with a blurry image, which along with some pixelation makes it upsetting for something I spent $400. Price fluctuations aswell has been irritating, if it's Amazon or Facebook/ Occulus controlling this... I'm not sure, but I paid $400 a month ago and now it's $500.... Why the steap jump in price? I guess you can say it was good for me but I'd be pissed if I just spent $500 and realised it was $400 just a month ahead. I will be returning mine and will also be keeping a closer eye on prices to see if it is Amazon or the products company that is ripping people off with the wild price fluctuations and will base future purchases accordingly.

5VR getting more affordable and is such a awesome experience!
By Cassidy
Been looking to get into virtual reality for quilt a while and with this package with the Oculus Rift, two sensors, and touch control for $399 (at the time of purchased), went ahead and go for it knowing my rig is capable of VR. After downloading the setup program, plunging in sensors and headset, follow the given instructions and strapping on the headset and then immersed myself in the experience, messing around with the 6 games and creative software included.

Now, I will say there was a issues with setting up the sensor. The main thing finding a set of USB 3.0 ports that is capable of running the sensors and this has been a known issue in the VR community, which generally recommending the Inateck USB pci cards. Unfortunately my motherboard USB ports (Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H) didn't meet the required bandwidth or whatever. I tried for the heck of it even though I bought and installed a QICENT 2 port USB 3.1 pci card and fortunately that worked. The other thing that I have a bit of an issue with is understanding the setup guild when its telling me to get in center the sensors, but after a bit of trail and error, it eventually start giving me fine tuning intrusion fo the sensors then good then go from there.

Also beware for those who wears glasses, small frames maybe able to fit but isn't a lot of space for them. I figure that since I'm nearside and that the screen is really close to my eyes that I can use them without needing my glasses. Nope, far objects and texts are just as blurry as much real life perspectives.

After pointing out the negative aspects, the immersion of being in a cockpit of a 737 in Flight Simulator X (with FlyInside) is such an amazing experience. Also Touch works with FlyInside so the ability flip the switches inside the cockpit is so cool thing to me. Also looking forward to try out other games like racing and driving games once I switch out my flight simulator peripherals with my G27 Racing Wheel.

Link to the USB 3.1 Pci card that works with the sensors for me (2 Type A ports)
Express Expansion Card PCI-E to USB 3.1 2-Port Hub Controller Adapter for Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1 / 10 Linux Kernal Desktops- Black

Gaming Rig
Intel Core i5-3570K (Ivy bridge Quad Core, even though Oculus recommending forth gen i5 Haswell CPU or newer)
Asus Strix GTX 1070 (able to pass Steam VR test with a solid 10)
Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H
Windows 10 64-bit

5Incredible VR system.
By Nebbers
Absolutely incredible, the games included are enough to have fun with for a fair amount of time. After playing, it really won't be enough though. I'm utterly addicted to VR gaming. It's incredible, and Oculus delivers with shining marks. After buying a third sensor, I've never experienced tracking issues, and everything feels so good. The headset is comfortable, the Touch controllers feel so natural, it's a really fantastic experience.
