Best. Clicker. Ever.
This is my second Kensington "clicker" of the same model and I hope they never stop making it. It feels good in the hand and is intuitive to use. Unlike so many other clickers I've been forced to use when sharing a presentation that just aren't made to fit in the hand and have so many useless buttons and on/off switches that it becomes a mess.
Advance 1 slide. Go back 1 slide. Point at the screen. What else to you need?
My first Kensington pointer finally gave up the ghost after nearly 10 years of near daily use, including hundreds of presentations and millions of air miles in a largely unprotected bag of electronics. To protect this one, I've added a travel case (For Kensington Wireless Presenter Pointer K33374USA / K33373US Travel EVA Hard Protective Carrying Case by Hermitshell) made specifically for this model.
So until someone comes up with a clicker that works off the voices in my head, I'll keep buying this model.

A Remote for Mac and PC
By Kris Poore
I am a mac user and use both Apple Keynote (primary) and Microsoft Powerpoint (secondary).
I bought this for my office since Apple's Keynote companion app (Keynote Remote) was no longer connecting to my computer via wi-fi (and still yet, never connects via bluetooth).
This little thing is a godsend. It's simple, ergonomic and doesn't feel flimsy. The buttons are made of rubber, not plastic, so it feels sturdy in your hand. The controls are simple that even the most technologically challenged can use it. The added benefit of the laser and the "black-out" button make it essential for conferences and speeches.
Not many people have talked about crossover from mac to pc, so I'll address it here:
This remote is plug-and-play for both pc and mac. No need to install drivers or go through set-up wizards. Even more, the remote works on any active program—meaning that if you are on a mac and have both keynote and powerpoint open, it will work on whichever program is currently active and in-view on your desktop, without any issues.
What does this mean, exactly? It means that if you are primarily a keynote user, and you are putting on a conference, and one of your colleagues has a powerpoint file, you can use the same remote for the same computer for both applications. Just switch applications and the remote works. No fuss, no muss.
The only challenge with this remote is making sure no one in the office hoards it in their desk.

As a 5th grade teacher, I know the importance in keeping my students engaged. I also know how important it is to be able to monitor my students from all over the classroom. Before purchasing the Kensington Wireless Pointer, I felt like I was glued to my Smartboard at times because I was constantly having to go up to the board to touch the screen. With this pointer, I'm able to change slides, start/stop videos, go back to a precious slide, etc. while walking around my classroom and monitoring my students. I can also use the laser pointer to bring attention to things on the board. I feel like it's made my lessons more effective and my students more engaged. I was worried about the compatibility with my MacBook Pro and Smartboard, but it worked beautifully. I highly recommend!
