Conduct monthly presentations and found this wireless pointer/clicker to be a good investment. It's small, portable, has its own case, extremely easy to use, the USB fits nicely inside the clicker and it's easy to operate. Often times I will give the clicker to others and can literally just point to the arrows to let them know how to operate and were the point button is. Everyone loves it!

Bought this because I had one from 2012, which I lost somewhere. Anyway, bought this thing and in 6 months it does not work if you walk more than 8 feet from the computer. I don't know what happened to this thing but it does not work as well as the older units. I need something that will give me 20ft range it only gives me 8ft. Look at something else.

5Gets the job done
By Sarah
As a university instructor and presenter, the "clicker" (as my students and I call it) is invaluable.

In my advanced presentation class, I use the clicker to help my students present clearly. They don't have to stand behind the podium to forward the slides, nor do they have to lean over to make sure a slide advances. They can now stand in front of the screen. When they want to emphasize a point, they can use the laser instead of their hands. Finally, for nervous students, the clicker is something they can hold on to that gives them something to do with their energetic hands.

I also use it in my own presentations for students. And I find the laser function quite useful when a student is on a cell phone. I simply point the laser on the phone to let the student know that I know they are distracted.

Works great. It has a nice function where the laser doesn't turn on unless the USB is disconnected. This is very nice as you won't be running down the battery for no reason.
