4Perfect for roadtrips
By Phillip Alvarado
Bought these to keep the kids entertained on our 800 mile road trip. I have an 10 year old and a 2 year old and they definitely don't have the same taste in movies. This system was ideal as it let each child watch their own dvd without bothering the other child. In a long road trip, that is priceless.

The one thing that kept me from giving 5 stars, was the lack of a remote. The buttons are a little off and have to pressed just right to work correctly, so a remote would have been perfect.

4Screens are good sized, speakers have decent volume
By Amazon Customer
Screens are good sized, speakers have decent volume. In the end they do their job and we use them on long road trips.

A few things could make these a 5 star. Little longer power cables, easier DVD loading so kids can handle themselves and the part that makes the DVD loading even more difficult is the screen mounts it comes with. They are horrible.

5Great little units
By LD
These things work great. Did not have any of the issues other posters mentioned. The strap attachment points would probably break if you cinched down the straps without regard for how narrow those plastic pieces are, but common sense will carry the day. The headrest harnesses are not ideal for the shape of my headrests, but for a universal setup, it's pretty good. I modified them by using zip ties to hold them how I wanted them. The DVD players themselves are working great so far, and I really like that the kids can watch the same DVD or two different ones.
