Does the job (with some modification) and pretty economical.
Packaging could be better; the item arrived with the wooden part on the front of the laptop stand that was scratched and dented a bit. Item does a good job of supporting my 15.6" HP ENVY x360-15t, which is 15.04" wide x 9.8" deep x 0.94" thick. The stand has three positions to angle and elevate the back of the laptop. I position the stand at its highest elevation; however, this was somewhat less than ideal. In order to put the laptop display even higher and closer to me, I chose to put the back legs into some wine corks I had. This raises the back of the stand another 1.5" or so above my desk.
I also have a 15.6" HP ZBook 15, which is 15.2" wide x 10.4" deep x 1" thick. Because of the shape of the front of the HP ZBook, this laptop has a tendency to ride over the wooden part on the front of the laptop stand if I bump the desk too hard. If I didn't elevate the laptop stand to such a steep angle (by adding the corks to the back legs), the ZBook would probably be a bit more secure...but it works out OK.
So my suggestions to improve this product would be to allow it to angle even higher and consider adding another 1/8" to the height of the wood on the front. Better packaging would've been appreciated too.

I like it, but I needed modify it
I like it, but I needed modify it. It's designed for laptops 12" wide or less. Any unit wider than that and it sits on top of the main frame dangerously. My LT is 15" wide and slid around like skate-blades-on-ice. The second issue is my LT's leading edge against the wood block. My front edge tapers up and puts no more than 1/8" across the top portion of that block. My remedy cost just a couple bucks. First I purchased some vinyl self stick pads (bumpers) item #52728 from ACE Hardware. Then I determined how much I needed to lift the rear of my LT to drop my narrow leading edge at least a 1/4" below the the top surface of the wood block. Then I peeled the existing 4 thin soft rubber disks off, doubled them up, and reapplied them to the back of the support block where they would center on my narrow leading edge after I stacked 2 ACE bumpers x2 and applied them to the rear areas where I had removed the thin rubber disks. It's now rock solid and unshakeable. I'm happy and it sure saved the trouble of returning it for both parties.

Ok for the price but an issue with the wood block....
By Gregory H.
Well built for the price - does what it's supposed to do. Keeps your laptop raised / tilted and cool. Solid enough but laptop does shake a bit on it. One side had scuffs on the paint but for the price that's not a huge concern for me. My biggest issue with this item is the wood block on the bottom which is too large. It's too wide and bulky and interferes with arm placement and trackpad use. They could have made the block a bit shorter, and thinner, to make it much more comfortable.
