If you have to use ink-jet; this is a really great cartridge
By J. Nowlen
I really like the XL cartridges. I get long life from them so from an ink-unit standpoint, this is a much better value than standard capacity.
I don't like the price though. Best here on Amazon; but I have a larger than desirable investment for my two ink-jet printers. As the price of laser printers, especially laser MFP printers, comes down; I'll be glad to jettison ink cartridges for toner. No matter the laser printer, my costs per page is less for laser than ink jet.

By Daniel Plaza
Good product, though the amount of prints I got from this cartridge seems to be well below the factory average specified on the product description. I would still recommend it as you get plenty of use out of it for the money.

By Lisa Hall
Very weird that replacing the ink did not register as being replaced and so it is difficult to say if the ink would perform correctly. Several attempts were made to try to get the printer to recognize it had new ink, all to no avail. Ultimately, a new printer (not HP) was ordered. The printer had only been used over a single college semester.
