Wherever You Go The DJI Mavic Pro is a small yet powerful drone that turns the sky into your creative canvass easily and without worry, helping you make every moment an aerial moment. Its compact size hides a high degree of complexity that makes it one of DJI’s most sophisticated flying cameras ever. 24 high-performance computing cores, an all-new transmission system with a 4.3mi (7Km) range, 4 vision sensors, and a 4K camera stabilized by a 3-axis mechanical gimbal, are at your command with just a push of your thumb or a tap of your finger. POWERFUL Fly for miles. From your pocket. Inside the Mavic’s pocket-sized remote controller is DJI’s brand new OcuSync transmission technology, with a range of 4.3mi (7km) and Full HD 1080p video streaming. No bumps and scrapes When you know what’s in front of you, you won’t bump into it. The same is true of the Mavic. Using Flight Autonomy it can see obstacles as far away as 49ft (15m) in front, so that it can fly at up to 22mph (36kph) while avoiding the things it sees. Absolute Precision Flight Autonomy technology means the Mavic can hover precisely in more environments, and automatically land almost exactly where you took off. Stay flying longer Why fly for 10 or 15 minutes when you can fly for up to 27? With the Mavic you can. Use every single pixel The Mavic is the only drone of its size to carry an integrated high-precision 3-axis mechanical camera stabilization system, giving you crystal clear photos and smooth videos, without losing a single pixel.

5My new favorite
By Amazon Customer
I am a phantom 3 owner and proponent. It was time to try something new. I chose the mavic over the phantom 4 because of the folding design. I sometimes fly 4-5 different locations in a day. The ability to set up and fly quickly was the deciding factor. Man am I happy I did it. The mavic is by far the most stable, best flying drone I have ever used. I flew it today in 20 mph wind and it was no problem. The video and still pics are as good as the phantom and it is much more fun to fly. The obstacle avoidance is spot on. If you are thinking of a new drone, trust me, this is it. My new favorite.

5Ten reasons why Mavic Pro is a WINNER
By YouTubeChannel: iProDan
[[VIDEOID:dea591c29d0174f0db22f6fde98d01d2]] I previously owned a DJI Phantom 3 Standard, which I totally recommend to getting into Ariel video/photography. It's a really nice drone to ease into and make a smooth transition into something far more advanced in the shape of the DJI Mavic Pro. I was able to unbox and get it into the air in less than 30mins and begin to enjoy it. I even made a video about the process. Outside were winds of 22mph, which is the higher end of where DJI doesn't want you to use it, but it held stable like a champ and was amazing. This drone can do some many things, but here's a few...

- Front-facing obstacle avoidance sensors, so it doesn't smash into something going forwards (it can going backwards).
- 40 mph speed on 'sport mode'
- 4k camera. Can shoot RAW video/photos
- Comes with battery, remote and cables AND memory card (which is super nice, may want to upgrade for 4k video though as it will eat through it).
- Tiny drone, really compact, and after dealing with the larger DJI Phantom 3 series, this was a blessing (can't wait to travel with it, so much easier)
- 4 mile range is crazy, but I prefer to keep close with good LOS (line of sight)
- 27 min battery life is standard and decent. Always worth buying a backup so you can extend your flight times for more fun
- Gimbal works great. You can also cheat and use it as a steadycam for normal ground / holding it shooting.
- Props are more sophisticated than DJI Phantom series. You have to push down and twist, Phantom you just turn and they lock. Not a big issue.
- Foldable arms is genius and lends to it being super portable and compact. Bless you DJI for this design.
- Gesture control for photo is amazing function. Total selfie freaks can now rejoice.
- Tracking feature is really cool. Previously had to purchase Litchi for this kind of thing, but it's all embedded into it now.
- You can fly without the remote, just with a cell/mobile device (awesome). Or just with remote (without cell/mobile).
- Comes with actual instructions (you don't need to download PDFs of DJI website).

Hope this review was helpful. Please leave comments and I'll check them when I can.

5There is simply none better
By Keith Stewart
Purchased this drone for my 40 year old Son for Christmas. I figured it would be ideal for him and his active family, and IT IS! So what if it took two months to arrive, when it did it was almost instantly in the air flown by a guy that has never flown a drone. They have had it over a month and ALL their family love flying it!

This drone is NOT a toy. It is a very professional machine designed to offer even the new flyer HUGE and very usable features that are very easy to master.

He used it recently to inspect the top of my fireplace chimney where we discovered large cracks that allowed water to accumulate inside my house. The film is so very sharp and super clear, and will allow the contractor to prepare quickly for the repairs needed.

He has already used the drone to inspect many acres for possible locations to build his house. This drone is most certainly a very necessary tool and not simply a toy.

All that witness it in flight first mention how quiet it is! And it truly is very quiet-almost scary quiet.

He tried the sport mode and flew it at 62 MPH!!!!!!! by GPS. All of the features work so very well-object tracking, Terrain follow, return to home, object avoidance-EVERY feature works so very perfectly!

I wish my dad was alive to see this amazing tech.
