Warning - this is not a complete refill pack. Doesn't contain all the cartridge colors you need to refill your printer.
I don't know if all Canon printers are like this or just mine (PIXMA MG7120), but I get no warning when my ink is running low. I just go to print something - usually in a hurry - and discover that I suddenly can't print because I'm out of ink. So at least in my case, it's critical to always have plenty of refills lying around.
I ordered this pack when I first bought my printer. Not being very familiar with the printer yet, I assumed it was a refill pack that contained all the colors my printer needs. (My old printer had only used 4 cartridges.) And I never looked at it that carefully until the first time I ran out of ink. That's when I discovered that this pack does not contain the color that had run out - black. Yes, it contains a black cartridge, but that black is only for printing photos. The everyday black ink for text and artwork is PGBK250, and it needs to be purchased separately. So I had to run out to the store in a hurry.
Just a few days later, I suddenly ran out of ink again. This time, it was the gray cartridge... which also doesn't come with this refill pack. And they didn't have that one at my local store, so I had to order it online, which left me completely unable to print anything until it arrived.
Obviously, black and gray are going to be the two colors that run out the quickest for most people, and your printer won't work if you're out of any one color, even if you don't need that color for the thing you're printing. So be sure that if you're ordering backup ink, you also buy the black and gray cartridges IN ADDITION to this pack.
As for the ink itself, I have no complaints. The cartridges are very easy to install and I've had no experience with them leaking or running. They do run out quickly. I do very little printing these days, and I still find I have to replace cartridges quite frequently. But I think that's pretty standard with inkjet printers in general.

Good combo pack - but wishing for an XL verison
I have always stuck with Canon OEM ink, because the results and reliability are worth the extra cost to me (plus printer manufacturers are making it increasingly problematic to use non-OEM solutions). The good news is this is genuine OEM ink from Canon, and will work just fine in my new MP6320 printer or other printers that use the PGI-250/CLI-251 series inks.
The only thing missing from this combo pack is Pigment Black ink; all of the Canon inkjets that use the CLI-251 colors also require a PGI-250 Pigment Black ink tank for text. Since you may go through more or less Pigment Black depending on what you print (text documents vs. color photos), leaving Pigment Black out of this combo makes some sense. Just be sure to order a Canon Ink PGI-250 PGBK Individual Ink Tank or Canon Ink PGI-250 PGBK XL Individual Ink Tank in addition to this combo.
One gripe about the ink tanks themselves (besides the fact the amount of ink supplied continues to shrink over time) is that they are totally opaque. I prefer earlier Canon tanks (such as the Canon CLI-221 2946B004 4-Color Value Pack that are either clear or have a clear window to eyeball the amount of ink left. With the CLI-251 ink tanks you must rely on the printer to tell you when to replace the ink, and occasionally printers get it wrong and tell you a tank is empty when it isn't.
Note: what I *really* want is a value combo featuring the XL sized ink tanks, which are rated by Canon to last 100% longer for the color tanks and 50% longer for the Pigment Black. But as of May 2013 it seems like these are only sold individually. (See first comment for more info on page yields.)
