"Smart! It protects my Tap and you don't have to remove it to use charger base. Well made. Currently half the cost of the Amazon product and better designed. Same quality materials and workmanship. Recommended (John Row - USA)
"Great case! Easy to put on, secure fit, lightweight. Like the hexagonal (anti-roll) design. Fits perfectly on the charging base, no adjustments necessary. And half the price of the Amazon cover!" (Marty G - USA)

Better than the official Amazon Tap Sling at half the price!
By Ernie Beckley
When I purchased my Tap, I got it for a lot less than half price. I really liked the official Amazon sling, but couldn't see paying that much for it, especially since I would lose the easy use of the charging base. Then I saw the CUVR sling.
On the plus side: 1) I can use my charging base, which is huge for me since I'm constantly taking my Tap with me. 2) The octagonal shape of the upper and lower parts of the sling are great if you want to lay your Tap down. I didn't really see that as plus at first until I realized laying it down without having it roll around means it can't tip over. 3) It's heavy duty. No doubt this sling will last longer than the Tap itself.
On the down side: 1) It adds quite a bit of weight and volume (ie: displacement) compared to the naked tap. 2) The base of the tap is unprotected. That's the down side of having the ability to pop it on the charger base at any time. The good news is the sling does a better job of protecting the base than not having the sling on at all. 3) The Alexa button (or whatever it's called) is deeply recessed in the body of the sling. That will absolutely keep you from accidentally hitting the button (which I did almost every time I picked up my Tap) but it does mean you have to pay a bit more attention when pressing the button.
Here's the thing about the down sides--they really don't matter. Even combined, they don't detract enough from the design and usefulness of the sling to take off even 1/2 a star. In fact, for some, these down sides might be pluses for you. It's a matter of taste.
Two recommendations for the manufacturer. First, make the bottom ring about 1/8" longer. Doing so will better protect the base of the Tap when setting it down (because there will be a bit of a lip) without interfering with its docking with the charging base. Second, other colors would be nice. It comes in black and pink. The Amazon sling also comes in orange (my favorite), blue, green, and white. I'm partial to having other colors because the contrast makes it easier to see, especially at night.

Cool Color & Fits nicely!
Love the look of this color. Cool pink--- makes it great for any age. Snug fit with bottom access to charge it on the base. Loop at top to grab & go without being bulky to carry. Product arrived on time. Very happy customer.

The pink one is not pink enough, but otherwise an awesome product
By Jessica Saldana
TLDR; I had originally ordered the pink one and was disappointed in the color. I have since ordered the black one and love it. No rolling, no loss of sound, easy to cradle, and it keeps my tap nice and safe. Gave 5 stars because it was so easy to return and replace.
WARNING: THE COLOR OF THE "PINK" ONE IS NOT REALLY ROSE QUARTZ. It's actually more of a baby pink that's closer to powder pink (real color is closest to the attached image).
I am an artist and technologist so I love fun colors on technology. I would have tried the blue one, but it was out of stock so I ordered the pink one. I was excited to get what I thought would be a sling that was a rich pink. I wanted my tap to be sassy, feminine, and fun. Once I received the case I was distraught to see the color was a meek, soft baby pink. It clashed with my furniture but wasn't pink enough for it to work as a statement piece. My husband is usually a fan of pink things but neither of us cared for it as it wasn't sassy enough for us or Alexa. We said no to the dress.
The vendor CUVR was kind enough to let us return it. I immediately re-ordered and got the standard black one and am pretty dang happy with it. Even tho my tap isn't the sassy diva I thought she would become, she still looks damn sleek in black.
+ The no-roll case is definitely a plus since we take the tap all over the house with us and can lay it down in any direction.
+ The bottom edge doesn't hinder the connection to the charging cradle.
+ Snug fit; No fear of the device slipping out.
+ No (noticeable) impact to audio quality.
+ Sleek and sexy.
+ Easy to clip to your backpack, purse, belt loop, 24K chain, whatever
+ I haven't noticed anything 'sticking' to the sling's material. It's remained pretty clean! No dust or grime.
+ Better price point than the $20 Amazon sling.
- The colors aren't as fun as Amazon's version of the sling.
