We'll ship you a replacement device (same or newer model depending on availability). You'll also receive a pre-paid shipping label to send your damaged device back to us (must have a valid credit card on file in order to receive a replacement).




Return your damaged device within 30 days from reception (otherwise you will be charged the price of the replacement).

It seems from the verbage I recieved after signing up for the plan that there are a lot of exclusions on damages that are not covered on the plan. It seems it might be difficult to get my kindle repaired or replaced outside of the narrow group of possible damages that might happen. I don't know at this point if the plan is going to be worth the price. I have my doubts. I would have rather known the scope of coverage before buying the plan.

Stay away from this company, Square Trade, Inc. This protection plan is a scam. I ordered it for my daughters kindle and they can't seem to email it to me. So they said they would send it snail mail. Nope, can't figure that one out either. I am so disappointed that Amazon would associate with someone so incompetent. Save your money, they will never give you proof of the plan or coverage anyway!
